McCoy could make his first start this Sunday.
- Andy Reid says that Brian Westbrook's ankle injury will not require an MRI, and is not all that serious.
- It came out earlier today that the Eagles forced Sean Jones to take a pay cut or be cut.
- Reid also said that if Donovan McNabb can't play this week, Kevin Kolb will get the start.
- Reid would not say how the Eagles will use Michael Vick, if at all.
- Peter King is reporting that McNabb is unlikely to play next week and that Vick will have about a 10-play package against the Chiefs.
- Reid said that McNabb may practice, but according to Brian Seltzer of ESPN950 Reid "didn't sound too convincing."
- In addition to Westbrook's ankle swelling, DeSean Jackson is day-to-day with groin issues.
- CB Dimitri Patterson is going to have hand surgery and will miss next week's game.
- Asante Samuel just had a stinger and is fine.
- Todd Herremans is still not ready to go, but should be back soon. Possibly after the bye week.
- Stacy Andrews did not start because his knee is "fatigued" as Reid is calling it. Apparently he's not recovering from surgery as quickly as first thought. Had nothing to do with lack of knowledge concerning the playbook.
- Eagles averaged 5.7 yards per play out of the Wildcat with five first downs. Very productive.
- When asked about Chris Clemons committing a lot of penalties Reid said, "Yeah, we'll get that worked out." That usually means "Hey Chris, meet Mr. Bench."
- Reid also said that Kolb will be the only one taking snaps with the first-team. Unless of course McNabb actually practices. Garcia and Vick will take snaps with the scout team, if Garcia is even still on the roster.
- ESPN's Adam Schefter reported a few days ago that Garcia had been guaranteed two game checks, so the Eagles will probably look for a way to keep him this week, then let him go during the bye.
