LeSean McCoy will have his first start since Pitt.
It's just come down now and been confirmed that Donovan McNabb will miss his second straight game with a broken rib, again giving way to Kevin Kolb, who is looking for his first win as a starter.
Also inactive for the Eagles are Kevin Curtis, Brian Westbrook, Quintin Demps, Jason Babin, Mike McGlynn, and then the injured guys in Todd Herremans and Dimitri Patterson.
Notable inactives for the Chiefs include wide receiver Dwayne Bowe and linebacker Derrick Johnson.
Starting in place of McNabb will of course be Kolb, in place of Westbrook is rookie LeSean McCoy, and in place of Curtis will technically be DeSean Jackson moving to the "Z" receiver, and Maclin will come in as the flanker.
The Eagles will be sporting what could be their starting lineup in a few years to come, and we'll finally get to see how the kids will respond to their first chance to show what they can do on the NFL level, and they better make it good if they want to continue to see time once the starting veterans return to the lineup.
An interesting guy to watch today will be Eldra Buckley. He beat out Lorenzo Booker in the preseason for the third running back position, and he's active and ready to go today. He's been playing special teams, but now should get a shot to show what he can do running the ball. In addition to Buckley, Leonard Weaver and the Wildcat will take some snaps from McCoy.
It will also be interesting to see what the Eagles do in the secondary. Demps and Patterson are both out, so they only have three safeties and four cornerbacks today. If the Chiefs come out in a five-receiver set, the Eagles may be forced to play Sean Jones at free safety and use Macho Harris as a corner in certain sets because of the lack of depth.
Of course, they've used him everywhere else, so maybe DeSean Jackson can play corner too.
