Raiders Along for the Ride as Eagles Beating Themselves

This is a picture of JaMarcus Russell, isn't it?

Let me just say this right now, the Eagles are not losing to the Raiders as much as they're losing to themselves. The Raiders are not beating the Eagles, the Eagles are beating themselves.

It's absolutely pathetic watching this offensive line get manhandled by a bunch of overpaid clowns along that Oakland defensive line. Richard Seymour isn't worth the money he's getting or the pick the Raiders gave up for him, Tommy Kelly has been overpaid for years, and Trevor Scott is not near the player that Max Jean-Gilles has made him appear.

They can't pick up the stunt, they can't pick up the blitz, and the line has just overall looked terrible. It's difficult to watch.

If the Eagles don't first cover Zach Miller, then get pressure on JaMarcus Russell, then actually run the ball and stop trying to pass every single play, the Eagles will lose this game, and they'll lose it in embarrassing fashion.

If the game isn't already embarrassing enough, that is.

Reid's got to stop with this nonsense of passing on short-distance situations and refusing to allow the running game to pick up any kind of steam. This is certainly not the way to win a football game, regardless of who the competition is.

I know this, if the Eagles cannot handle the Raiders, they will lose, and lose badly, to the New York Giants in Philly in two weeks.
