Michael Vick will be eligible to play in Week 3 vs KC.
The anticipation was brought to an end this afternoon. Roger Goodell had made his final decision on Eagles Quarterback Michael Vick and when he would be eligible to play.
Commissioner Goodell has ruled that Vick remain suspended until Week Three of the regular season when the Eagles face the Chiefs. He will then be able to fully participate in any and every game.
He will still be active for tonight's preseason game.
Goodell and Vick had met this morning for approximately 45 minutes in New Jersey to discuss Vick's progress and when he would be fully reinstated.
Goodell also made comments on the reports that surfaced last week that Vick had been spotted consuming alcoholic beverages. Goodell assured that it is not a violation of his probation and that there is no story there.
Vick is scheduled to take the field tonight as the Eagles take on the Jets at the Meadowlands.
Coach Andy Reid has said numerous times that Kevin Kolb will start the game, and that we would see Vick mixed in similar to the way he was mixed in last week with McNabb.
Reid also said that Vick would most likely take the entire second half, and that we could possibly see A.J. Feeley.
More updates posted as they arrive.
